KOSA Spa, Madison WI
KOSA Staff Retreat
Invite -
We as a collective have so much to offer just within the Kosa team, I believe we can benefit immensely from each other by creating the space to listen, be present for some of our gifts and share our knowledge with our peers.
That being said, I have asked a couple of our Kosa friends to help make sure this retreat comes to fruition. This will be the first of hopefully many more to come.
I'm sure most of us are experiencing transitions in our life, pivotal moments if you may. Let's come together in our power and stand present for one another.
Come as you are. Know that we will be holding space to release as well as replenish. You are more than welcome to come with an intention for what you want to get out of this, or come with nothing at all.
We have lovely sessions with Tanya , Peg and Tara- what a treat!
For our potluck, I ask that everyone bring a dish that makes them happy, that sparks joy!
Reflections
Consciously taking a pause from our busy lifestyles to show up, present for one another. This circle, carefully allowed for exploration and expression, from meditation to dancing, and creativity. We were able to celebrate one another, while tapping into our community knowledge. I asked that everyone bring a dish that sparked joy, what we create tells a story about us. We had some tell stories of there childhoods, passions and guilty pleasures. This space allowed for fluidity, with the attendees setting the tone for offerings.
Following the traditional Aqua Soul fashion, we incorporated gifts to stimulate the Mind, Body and Spirit. To fully utilize our senses we incorporated an immersive environment for, Sight, taste, sound and touch as well as thought, creating a dynamic offering
Tanya Anderson lead with an educational workshop, explaining how Ayurveda plays out win your daily life, syncing your routine with the changing seasons. She left us with suggestions to how we can incorporate practices to assimilate to the changing season. Our body will allow us to listen to it natural intuition, taking action to undergo healing. The need for balance.
Peg, being the gentle soul she is lead us in a self love yoga flow. Allowing us to tap in and give back to our body. She provided a moment of mindfulness, and presence. There is something so beautiful about silencing the mind and surrendering to your current practice for an allowed amount of time.
Tara lead us with an intentional, dance release meditation. From rest, grounding on the ground to breaking past areas of comfort, embracing our natural movement. The meditation brought feeling s of Joy and a full release.
These circles are so important to connect and sit with one another. There is something special about reflecting in a space full of other like minded indeviduals. It allows you to feel as if you are supported in your thought process. A space that sparks inspiration.
